The formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Science-National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage (NIIMH), Hyderabad, and HKDET's Rajarajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Humnabad, Karnataka, took place on April 16–17, 2026, marking a pivotal advancement in the transcription and protection of ancient Ayurvedic manuscripts. Conducted under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Rabinarayana Acharya (DG, CCRAS) and Dr. N. Srikanth (DDG, CCRAS), the event was led by Dr. G.P. Prasad, Assistant Director In-charge of NIIMH, who delivered a keynote address on safeguarding traditional medical knowledge. The program included a two-day workshop and hands-on training on Ayurveda manuscripts transcription and translation, alongside review meetings led by Research Officers Dr. Saketh Ram and Dr. Santosh S. Mane with Samhita Siddhant scholars. Supported by online expertise from Dr. Uttam Singh, Dr. V.K. Lavaniya, and Dr. Rakesh Narayana, the initiative featured interactive sessions with PG students and college faculty to foster research-driven academic growth.
