The only department that caters the academic needs of all the initial three years, with an average of 850 theoretical classes per year. The 10+2 pass outs are molded and inculcated the conservative traditional learning methods. Apart from the routine academic activity.
Vision
- To prepare skilled Ayurvedic scholars by empowering with application of basic concepts of Ayurveda in upholding the doctrine physical, mental and spiritual health for all.
Mission
- To provide the knowledge of basic concepts of philosophy with their applied aspects in Ayurveda. To impart practical training on the utility of concepts of Ayurveda in Prevention, Diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of the diseases.
Departmental Initiatives
- Department has initiated training on hand by hand picking meritorious students and provided the necessary skills in Methods of Sanskrit Shloka and poetry learning
